Windows Updates

In Windows 10/11, you decide when and how to get the latest updates to keep your device running smoothly and securely. To manage your options and see available updates, select Check for Windows updates. Or select the Start  button, and then go to Settings  > Update & Security  > Windows Update .

Steam Updates

Downloads and updates can all be managed via the Download Manager in the Steam client. From here you can track the progress of your downloads, schedule updates, re-order your update queue and see which updates have been completed.

How to access the Steam Download Manager:

• The Downloads link at the bottom of the Steam client
• Or, from the View dropdown at the top of the Steam client, select Downloads
• Or, from the Library tab at the top of the Steam client, select Downloads

How to access Steam downloads settings:

• From the Steam client, select Steam > Settings > Downloads

NVidia Updates

GeForce® Drivers

GeForce Experience automatically notifies you of new driver releases from NVIDIA. With a single click, you can update the driver directly, without leaving your desktop. 

1. Create a user account and login
2. Navigate to "Drivers"
3. Click "Check For Updates"
4. Download the latest update
5. Install the latest update
6. The PC might need a reboot

3D Systems Haptic Drivers Update

These usually form part of the Fundamental Surgery Updates and will only need to be revised separately on rare occasions.

Haptic Device Drivers for OpenHaptics

1. Remove the previously installed haptic device driver from Control Panel, if any.
2. Download the .exe file to your computer.
3. Run the .exe file as administrator
