I don’t have a password to login

1. You will need a password to log into the Fundamental Surgery App - if you do not

have one already, please contact support@fundamentalsurgery.com and we will get

one setup for you.


I forgot my password

1. Navigate to the Fundamental Surgery dashboard

https://dashboard.fundamentalsurgery.com/login and click on “Forgot password” on

the login page. To receive the password reset link enter your email address.


I entered my credentials, but the app doesn’t load beyond the login page

1. Check that the PC/ laptop has a good and stable internet connection

2. Connect the PC/ laptop to an alternative internet source (different Wi-Fi or create a

hotspot with a mobile device). It can happen that Fundamental Surgery gets blocked

by a firewall or network.


The image is blurry and not very clear

1. Setting the correct inter-pupillary distance, or IPD (, is one of the key pillars of having

a good VR experience. If your IPD is set incorrectly, it may cause nausea, headaches,

and/or dizziness.


To adjust the IPD move the slider on the bottom of the headset. The Windows Mixed Reality

software on your PC automatically updates the software IPD setting to match.


Complete Scene Move

This is typically caused by when the WMR portal is set to open on Windows start-up or not properly started.


  • Close the WMR portal
  • Clear the environment cache
  • Re-open the WMR and perform the tracking calibration


Do I have to change to floor level in Windows Mixed Reality and in SteamVR?

No, only do them in Windows Mixed Reality.
